Beautiversity™ Conference 2020 Talent Showcase Application


Hey, Sis! The Beautiversity Conference is excited to host a Student Talent Showcase for our superstar conference attendees! This event is an opportunity for our students to showcase their raw and colorful talents to a roomful of supportive peers! Apply today to audition for the talent showcase of a lifetime. When: Saturday, July 25, 2020 - 8:30 - 11:30 PM | Atlanta Marriott Marquis


Application Deadline: Apply by May 22, 2020 at 11:59 PM EST


Eligibility: The Talent Competition is open to all Beautiversity conference attendees. Individuals and groups (not to exceed five people) are eligible to enter this competition. Participants may have only one entry (as an individual or a member of a team). 


Performance Categories: Performances in a variety of categories are acceptable, including arts of singing, dancing, lip-syncing, stepping, acting, martial arts, playing an instrument, poetry, comedy or other activities to showcase skills


Auditioning: Auditions will be hosted electronically via pre-recorded video submission. We will NOT host "live" auditions. All video submissions must be received by 11:59pm EST on Friday, May 22 via the form below.


Performance Information

  • Must be registered for Beautiversity Conference to participate
  • Must be age 18 or older
  • Must provide all items, instruments and props necessary to perform talent. All must music be provided prior to the show by July 8th.
  • Must perform LIVE at the July 25th event!


Prize: 1st place wins $1,000 cash prize

TIMELINE

  • May 22, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. EST – Application Deadline 
  • June 30, 2020 –Top 8-10 Competitors will be notified
  • *Those who did not make the top 8-10 will also receive a notification by July 1st
  • Any music or tracks needed for performance due to info@beautiversityconference.com by July 8th
  • July 25, 2020, doors open at 8:30 p.m. show begins at 9:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis 
  • The top 8-10 finalists will perform in front of a live audience with celebrity host. The finalists will have up to 5 minutes to perform. The judging criteria for the competition include presentation, innovation, style, and captivation.
